Sibling Rivalry

I walked by Mar Dub's room the other day and saw this. C-Diddy likes to sit outside her door and make noise, drum, talk to himself or whatever else he can think of to bug the poo out of her. Is it bad that I want to put a similar sign up on my door that says the same thing and is directed at both of them?

  1. I think that is a riot! Love the way kids think! (and Moms, apparently, too!) lol

  4. Heh, heh, heh...I'm with you! I did make three signs for our bedroom door. One is a cartoon picture of my face, and it says "Mommy Time" on it. Another is a cartoon picture of hubby's face, and it says "Daddy Time". The third is a cartoon of both of us, and, of course, says "Mommy and Daddy Time" on it. They're attached to strings and hanging from a nail on our door. If we need "alone time" or "together time", we just flip to the appropriate sign. The kids have learned that means it's time to give one of us, or both of us, a little time to ourselves. It works surprisingly well, actually. When it's free-for-all time, we just turn all the signs over, and the kids know it's full-on family time. Cheers!
